As of January 1, 2009, Prof.
Ken Oliphant succeeded Prof.
Helmut Koziol as Director of the Institute for European Tort Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. On
January 29, 2009, at 4 pm., Ken Oliphant will hold his
inaugural lecture on the topic of
Aggregation and Divisibility of Damage in Tort Law and Insurance. At this occasion, the transition from the former Research Unit to an Institute shall also be celebrated.
